Preservation of health status through prevention, therapy and rehabilitation of injuries and diseases and improvement of psycho-physical abilities important for good competitive performance are just few of theaims of sports medicine. Dynamic development of sports medicine in past few decades shows neccesity of science view in recreative, amateur and professional sport. Today, sports medicine has evolved into a respected discipline with dedicated associations, colleges, institutes and literature in most countries.
