The Role of Trust in Electronic Banking: A Case Study of the Banks in Marvdasht City and Its Suburbs

Abstract
Electronic banking as a new branch of banking sciences has existed in the past few decades in Iran and with the growth of society and global need for integration of bank- ing services it has been center of attention of authorities. It should be noted that the main factor for accomplishing its objectives is trust in this new phenomenon and it success is dependent on trust of the society. In this study, for reaching this objective, the level of satisfaction and trust of Marvdasht’s people was investigated. The results of the study indicate that the new banking system is accepted among people however internet services through websites should be more investigaed.
