Abstract
KÜLTÜR veya MEDENİYET, en geniş etnografik anlamıyla alındığında, insanoğlunun2 toplumun bir mensubu olarak edindiği bilgi, inanç, sanat, töre, yasa, görenek ve diğer tüm yetenekler ile alışkanlıkların oluşturduğu karmaşık bir toplamdır. İnsanoğlunun oluşturduğu çeşitli toplumlar arasında kültürün durumu, şu ana kadar genel ilkeleriyle incelenebildiği haliyle, insan düşüncesinin ve eyleminin yasalarını çalışmaya meyleden bir konudur. Bir yandan, uygarlığa geniş bir biçimde yayılmış tekbiçimlilik, büyük oranda, aynı nedenin aynı eylemi doğuracağı düşüncesine atfedilebilir.
