THE SCIENTIFIC BASIS FOR THE MANAGEMENT OF THE POLICE IN THE FIELD OF CRIME PREVENTION

Abstract
The article is devoted to the consideration of the legal category of police management in the field of crime prevention. The article reflects the modern theoretical developments of Ukrainian and foreign scientists regarding the concept, system, structure of management of the police and the object of management, takes into account the basic concepts and provisions of the current level of development of the police, a modern approach to creating a coherent, effective and flexible system of police management, development of an optimal model for making and implementing management decisions. The author also examined the definitions of “management in the National Police”, “management system”, “subjects of the management of the police of Ukraine”, “legal support of the management of the police”, “process of management of the National Police of Ukraine”. Also in this article, the elements of the management system are considered, namely, subjects, objects, and a set of direct and inverse connections between them. The author described the main features of the legal support of the management of the police. There is the legal basis of the National Police analyzed.
