Abstract
During the World War II physical losses on the front that created moral and psychological upheavals, famine in the rear and in front of this hard trial the struggle of the peasants fighting against poverty are reflected masterfully in the creativity of ChingizAitmatov, prominent Kyrgyz writer, who began his literary career in the 1950s and Isa Huseynov who founded the individual psychologism in the Azerbaijani prose with his works. In this regard, the stories “Mother’s Field” and “Saz” of the both writers provoke interest due to their depiction of the realities in Azerbaijani and Kyrgyz villages. Becoming part of their nation, Tolgonay in “Mother’s Field” and Isfandiyar in “Saz” immortalize the highest human values even in the most difficult situations. In both of the works, the primary objective of the writers is to represent humanity and goodness as the most important values inherent in human and the confidence in the eternal living of them no matter how hard the conditions would be.
