THE SENSE OF TRIAL POSTPONEMENT AND ITS DELIMITATION WITH RELATED CONCEPTS

Abstract
The article is devoted to the disclosure of the essence of the postponement of the trial and its delimitation with related concepts. It has been distinguished the signs of the concept of “postponing trial in criminal proceedings” from such issues as “pause the judicial consideration” and “break in court” etc., based on the critical analysis of the criminal procedural rules that make up the institute for postponing trial in criminal proceedings and the results of scientific research. It has been proposed the author’s definition, which reveals the essence of postponement of the trial due to its most characteristic features.
