The Social Appropriation of Science, Technology and Innovation (SASTI) through Social Innovation Networks An Analysis of Epistemic Practices in Mondragon Cooperative Corporation

Abstract
in this paper the sociocultural innovation networks Mondragon Cooperative Corporation (MCC) are analyzed from the perspective of the Social Appropriation of Science, Technology and Innovation (SASTI). The aim is to place the epistemic practices that take place in the processes of innovation and appropriation in MCC, in order to meet epistemic communities and the actors involved in innovative processes of the cooperative. This work is constituted by four sections. In the first section, methodology and epistemological pluralism proposal to understand the practices from a community and dialogic approach is discussed; in the second section sociocultural innovation networks from the proposal of the Mexican philosopher León Olivé are described. The third section presents the MCC origins, geographical location, actors and institutions MCC. Finally, in the fourth section we characterize the epistemic practices that have generated processes of social appropriation of science, technology and innovation in MMC.
