THE SOCIAL-PSYCHOLOGICAL SUPPORT OF THE FORMATION OF THE PERSONALITY OF THE SOCIAL WORK SPECIALIST IN PRACTICAL PROFESSIONAL ACTIVITY

Abstract

Today, a special attention is required the Social Work as a new type of professional activity, and the formation of a personality of Social Work specialist presents a variety of different requirements for his/her personality and professional qualities. Socio-psychological support for the personality development of a Social Work specialist is conditioned by the content of its work, the multidisciplinarity and multifunctionality of Social Work as a professional activity, the requirements for the personality of a specialist, the development and self-designing of professionally oriented activities, the realization of him/herself as a specialist, professional and self-actualization of personal potential in order to achieve of the peaks of professionalism. The formation of the personality of a Social Work specialist in practical professional activities covers the stages of professional adaptation, the formation of professional competence, professional skills, the improvement of professional skills and the transfer of experience and post-employment stage. The socio-psychological accompaniment of the professional formation of a Social Work specialist is defined as a complex of successive measures contributing to the optimization of the formation and development in the person of the professional orientation, professionally important qualities and properties, aimed at self-realization of a specialist as a professional, the maximum realization of personal potential in professional activity at various stages of professional formation (professional adaptation, formation of professional competence, professional skill, perfection professional skills and experience transfer and post-employment stage). The necessity of studying the process of professional development of the personality of specialists and updating of the personnel potential of the social sphere, as well as organization of socio-psychological support for the professional development of the personality of a specialist, which provides a set of organizational and psychological measures aimed at creating favorable conditions for a professional and starts with the first experience of social connections, manifestation of their own strengths and opportunities, the realization of their own abilities and capabilities, professional self-esteem education, acquisition of life experience, preparation for independent life, education, formation and awareness of him/herself as a professional, enrichment of professional experience, the desire to achieve the ideal of a Social Work specialist, inner harmony, self-improvement, self-affirmation and self-actualization of a specialist as a professional, achievement of "acme" and lasts all life has been proved.
