THE SPECIFICITY OF MANIFESTATION OF THE PROBLEM "PRINCIPAL – AGENT" IN BANKS

Abstract
In the article the theoretical foundations of the problem of "principal – agent" are covered. It is substantiated that from the position of agency theory, during the money-credit intermediation in the bank appear three groups of agency relations in which the bank acts as a principal and an agent. The basic differences of bank's agent relations with clients from the classical "shareholder – the hired manager" are determined.
