THE SPECIFICS OF THE ENGLISH MONOLOGIC SPEECH OF SOCIO-PEDAGOGICAL ORIENTATION

Abstract

The article focuses on the definition of the specificity of monologic speech of sociopedagogical orientation. The relevance of the English-language monologue of future specialists of socio-pedagogical sphere is identified. The research and publications on the study of the specifics of English-language monologic speech have been viewed in the article. English is a universal language of communication. Actually, has become the second language of mankind. The growing integration of the world community and the inclusion of our country into the global financial and credit system, English has become the means of communication of specialists with foreign colleagues in situations of socio-economic activities, providing practical language skills. Specialists of socio-pedagogical sphere often visit foreign countries, take part in foreign conferences where it is necessary to have knowledge of English (conferences, symposium, exchange of experience, etc.). Fluency in a foreign language with the professional skills give the specialist better chance to get a decent job and a successful career, working with foreign experts. Thus, knowledge of English monologic speech is a part of the professional competence of the future experts of socio-pedagogical sphere. We reviewed the publications of modern scholars on this topic and concluded that the question of specificity of English monologic speech of socio-pedagogical sphere has not been the subject of special research.
