THE STRUCTURE OF PROJECT COMPETENCE OF FUTURE PEDAGOGES’ PROFESSIONAL TRAINING

Abstract

The article deals with the structural components of the design competence of future teachers’ professional training in terms of professional training. The scientific-pedagogical literature was analyzed, which reveals a wide variety of describing many issues related to the organizing project activity and its indisputable theoretical and practical significance. The meaning of the research key concepts “competence”, “project activity”, “project competence” is revealed. We use the “competence” definition given in the Law of Ukraine “On Higher Education” (2014): competence is a dynamic combination of knowledge, practical skills, the ways of thinking, professional ideological and social qualities, moral and ethical values, which determines the ability of a person to carry out the professional and further educational activities successfully and is the result of studying at the certain level of higher education. It is determined that the project competence is demonstrated in realizing the meaning and significance of the project activity, in the implementing special knowledge, skills and abilities, in the reasonable choice and optimizing the project decisions in the case of their multiple variability, in the ability to use the acquired knowledge and skills in a particular field of activity, and therefore, is determined by the project activity itself. The analysis of the regulatory and legal base of higher education in Ukraine, the educational and professional curriculums for the bachelors’ and masters’ training, the educational programs for the preparing professional training of future teachers made it possible to isolate the structural components of their design competence, among which: motivational, cognitive, activity, reflexive. Each of them is considered in detail, their role, the content and significance are defined. The elements of each project competence structural components are written.
