THE STUDY OF BREAD AND BAKED GOODS MARKET OF UKRAINE AND JUSTIFICATION OF PRODUCT INNOVATIONS CONDUCTED BY MANUFACTURERS ON THAT MARKET

Abstract

This article deals with study of bread and baked goods market of Ukraine based on analysis of secondary marketing information in field of volumes of industrial production and the structure of consumption for baking products. It was discovered; that the competitive positions of bread and baked goods producers in conditions of increasing competition and also commitment of consumers to them depends on the presence of innovative products in structure of their product assortment. Setting the directions for product innovations is individual for each manufacturer and is determined by existing structure of its assortment along with demands of consumers. That process has to be substantiated with the use of methods of economic and mathematical modeling.
