The Substantiation for Rational Antibacterial Therapy of Bacterial Respiratory Diseases in Children

Abstract
The article discusses the current state of the problem of antibiotic treatment for bacterial respiratory infections in children. The use of cefpodoxime proxetil (Cefodox), third generation cephalosporin, in respiratory pathology is scientifically substantiated. The experience of foreign and domestic experts, as well as own experience of cefpodoxime proxetil use in the treatment of respiratory bacterial infections in children is presented.
