The synthesis of MFI zeolite membrane on large H-ZSM-5 crystal

Abstract
Using in-situ hydrothermal synthesis to prepare large H-ZSM-5 crystal and the MFI zeolite membrane was synthesized on it. The X-ray diffraction (XRD), optical microscope, scanning electron microscope (SEM) and Uv-vis diffuse reflectance spectra were used to characterize the composite. From the characterization, it can be found that the mechanism of the growth of the MFI zeolite membrane on the large H-ZSM-5 crystal was polycrystalline growths. In the process of MFI zeolite membrane growing on the outer surface of the large H-ZSM-5 crystal, the adding methods and the pre-treatment of the large H-ZSM-5 crystal had dramatically influenced the synthesized effect.
