The system of didactic tasks on the development of foreign language vocabulary by medical students

Abstract

In this article, a system of didactic tasks for medical students on the development of components for the development of foreign vocabulary was implemented. In developing this system, we analyzed the goals, objectives and content of the program “Foreign Language” in a medical school, which provides a foreign language mastering as a component of the professional activity of a modern specialist of any profile. When compiling our program, we used a heuristic approach to solving the problem of learning foreign vocabulary. The form of training was chosen as a game training. As is known, the use of gaming methods of teaching involves the realization of a personality-active approach to teaching, which provides subject-subject relations between the teacher and students, and students among themselves. When organizing a system of didactic tasks for mastering a foreign language vocabulary, we came to the conclusion that it is only by creating and forming cognitive motives that lead to the need to express an opinion it is possible to achieve success in teaching a foreign language.
