THE TECHNOLOGICAL OPTIMIZATION OF DISCONTINUOUS FILTRATION USING GEOMETRICAL PROGRAMMING
Journal Title: Analele Universitatii din Bucuresti. Chimie - Year 2011, Vol 20, Issue 1
Abstract
The paper depicts both a technological optimization method for discontinuous filtration that is based on experimental data and a computer program that realises the optimization. The algorithm and the program allow getting the optimum structure of a filtration cycle for any filter with discontinuous work. Both the modality of optimization and the computer program can be used successfully in industry for increasing the economical efficiency in the exploitation of filtering equipment.

CARBON DIOXIDE AS INHIBITOR FOR IGNITION AND FLAME PROPAGATION OF PROPANE-AIR MIXTURES
The effect of CO2 addition on stoichiometric propane-air mixtures, at ambient pressure and temperature, was analysed for both ignition and flame propagation. The quenching distance significantly increases and the normal...
NEW ALGORITHM AND PROGRAM FOR SIMPLE EXTRACTION WITH MULTIPLE CONTACTS OPTIMIZATION
A mathematical algorithm and a Turbo Pascal computer program, allowing to perform some calculations for simple extraction with multiple contacts, using the Gibbs’s triangle and a new method of interpolation, simpler than...
EXPANSION COEFFICIENTS AND NORMAL BURNING VELOCITIES OF PROPANE-AIR MIXTURES BY THE CLOSED VESSEL TECHNIQUE
The normal burning velocities of propane-air mixtures were calculated from the expansion coefficients and the cubic law constants of flame propagation in the early stage of closed vessel explosions, using the adiabatic c...
DEVELOPMENT AND VALIDATION OF INDIRECT SPECTROPHOTOMETRIC METHODS FOR LAMOTRIGINE IN PURE AND THE TABLET DOSAGE FORMS
Three simple, sensitive, accurate and indirect visible spectrophotometric methods have been developed for the estimation of lamotrigine (LMT) in both pure and in pharmaceutical preparations. They are based on the oxidati...
