The Theoretical and Methodological Platform for Developing a System of Enterprise Adaptation to Changes in the External Environment

Abstract
The aim of the article is the elaboration of an approach to creation of a theoretical and methodological platform for developing a system of enterprise adaptation to the rapid changes in the external environment, the modern active challenges of the markets. The attention is focused on the fact that the ability of industrial enterprises to respond flexibly to the external environment instability is realized through their adaptation system, the development of which should be based on an appropriate theoretical and methodological platform. The conducted retrospective analysis of the evolution of scientific thought on solving problems of enterprise adaptation allowed making the conclusion that still there is no agreed view of scientists on the scientific basis for the development of an adequate system for adaptation of industrial enterprises. There has been suggested an approach to developing a theoretical and methodological platform of the process of industrial enterprises’ adaptation as a targeted set of basic concepts, principles, theories, scientific methods, models, laws and categories, oriented towards the elaboration of an appropriate organizational and economic system.
