THE TRANSFERABLE SYMBOLS OF RIGHTS (TRANSITIVE SIGNS) IN THE SYSTEM OF OBJECTS OF RIGHTS UNDER THE CIVIL CODE OF UKRAINE

Abstract
The article examines issues of the doctrine understanding of legal nature of the transferable symbols of rights (transitive signs). The author determines their place in the system of objects of rights under the Civil Code of Ukraine. It becomes possible through the category of res incorporales. So, the transferable symbols of rights (transitive signs) are to be divided into material (movable) and immaterial (res incorporales) property. The author emphasizes the immaterial transferable symbols of rights existing as digital records or digital documents are not to be regarded as information. They contain data but are not to be reduced to data itself. The key feature for understanding of nature of any transferable symbols of rights is a sign qualities.
