The use of a hemostatic collagen sponge for the treatment of suture failure of the lungs

Abstract
In the article 10 cases of treatment of an aerostasis failure after interventions on patholologically changed parenchyma of the lung are analysed. The comparative estimation of treatment results in the group of patients with application of a hemostatic collagenic sponge for prophylaxis of suture failure of the lung is carried out. Reduction of the number of postoperative complications, time of a hospital stay and lethality in basic group was noted.
