THE WAYS OF THE UKRAINIAN JAZZOLOGY DEVELOPMENT

Abstract
The conditions of the Ukrainian jazzology formation and development during the 20th-21st centuries are analyzed. The stages of its evolution in the works of soviet and Ukrainian scholars are defined. The article also deals with the characteristic of the most fundamental writings dedicated to the jazz art. The author defines the variety of issues of modern jazzology. The major branches and forms of its development are defined.
