Theoretical Analysis Regarding the Asymmetrical Fluid Flow Applied to Helicopter Aerodynamics
Journal Title: RECENT - Year 2015, Vol 16, Issue 44
Abstract
The main topic of the present paper is the asymmetrical fluid flow application with the purpose of finding the best solutions to replace the anti-torque rotor of single-rotor helicopters using the Coandă Effect. This would significantly increase the flight performances. The research mainly aims at obtaining a controlled lateral force due to the Coandă flows through the tail boom, a force which would be useful for the stabilization of the lifting rotor applied to the flight of single-rotor helicopters.

The goal of this paper is to present the developed Web service for test variants generation. The method for test construction is based on the Bloom’s taxonomy. Each test includes several sections of the curricula. Each s...
Study on Shrinkage Development inside an Al-Si Alloy Casting by Computer Solidification Simulation
We show that the position and shrinkage volume results given by software using casting solidification simulation doesn`t always correspond with the experimental results. This can be explained due to the simulation analys...
Evaluation of Mechanical Properties of Friendly Cotton / Nestrapol 455-60 Composites after Saline Environmental Condition
In this research paper a comparison between mechanical characteristics of two friendly composites with three and five layers after immersion were evaluated. Five specimens for each composite were immersed in 5% NaCl aque...
