Abstract
The article is devoted to topical issues of stress testing as a key diagnostic tool of the state anti-crisis regulation of the banking system. The author summarizes the theoretical approaches to the definition of stress testing, outlines the principles of its application in micro- and macroprudential banking regulation and supervision and characterizes its types in the context of achieving the objectives of the state anti-crisis regulation of the banking system.
