Theoretical and Legal Principles of Government Legitimacy

Abstract
The scientific article is devoted to the theoretical and legal foundations of the government legitimacy. It defines legitimacy as one of the political power performance indicators, which reflects the public perception of it. It reveals the “ideal” paradigm of government recognition, acceptance and support by people; procedures for securing state power, its institutions and procedures of influence in the laws of the state; recognition of the government in the international arena.
