THEORETICAL APPROACHES TO DETERMINING THE CONCEPTUAL AND CATEGORICAL APPARATUS – “INVESTMENT PLATFORM”

Abstract
The main objective of this scientific publication is to identify the concept-categorical apparatus – the “investment platform”, to analyze the terms “investment”, “investment activity” and “platform” as part of the concept-categorical apparatus – the “investment platform”. The modern dimension of economic scientific literature interprets investment as a process of capital investment with a view to its subsequent increase. According to the Law of Ukraine “On Investment Activity”, the term investment is defined as all types of property and intellectual property that are invested in objects of entrepreneurial activity and other kinds of activity, which results in the creation of profit (income) and / or social and environmental impact. The foreign and domestic scientists, who gave the definition of the components of the conceptual categorical apparatus – the “investment platform” were mentioned. The conceptual categorical apparatus – the “investment platform” – was defined in the article, namely, the main concepts that are an integral part of the term “investment platform”, in particular investment, investment activity and platform were outlined. The term of the platform usually means reuse or shared by common elements, including various products or systems of production. The European Commission provides with the following definition of the term online platform – it means operation on two (many) markets that use the Internet to provide interactions between two or more independent groups, but are interrelated groups in the generation of values. The essence of investment activity where the main process is carried out, increase in the price of capital is outlined. The definition of the term “platform” is given and its features are outlined; the scheme of functioning of platforms is depicted on the basis of the vision of foreign scientists. A scheme for defining the concept-categorical apparatus – the “investment platform” – was also formed. The interdependence of components of conceptually categorical apparatus is summed up – “investment platform”. Thus, the term “investment platform” should be defined on the basis of the studied theoretical material. Investment platfor is an electronic investment instrument aimed at satisfying the investor's needs in the projects and the project itself in receipt of investments, but under certain investment conditions for both the investor and for the project. Thus, on the basis of the studied material the concept-categorical apparatus “investment platform” was defined, which resulted in the definition of investments as a category generating profit or aimed at obtaining additional income, influence on the economic sector, modernization, increase in the value of capital, which is reflected in the sum of the invested capital or on the growth of functioning capital. The consequence of investing at the macro level is the growth of the national economy
