THEORETICAL ASPECTS OF ENTERPRISE RESTRUCTURING

Abstract
The modern Ukrainian economy is in a state of fundamental changes connected with changes in property relations, technologies, development of globalization processes, and the participation of Ukraine as a subject of the world economy. These changes take place in the process of reforming with the help of a set of working tools, among which the leading role is played by restructuring. In the article, theoretical bases of enterprise restructuring are considered, classification is presented, and the main directions of restructuring are considered. The concept of restructuring in the economic literature is considered and the author’s interpretation of the term of restructuring is presented. The influence of factors that may prompt the use of the restructuring tool is analysed.
