THEORETICAL ASPECTS OF THE DEVELOPMENT OF THE PROCESSING INDUSTRY OF UKRAINE IN MODERN CONDITIONS

Abstract
The article investigates the theoretical aspects of the role of the processing industry in shaping the basis of the modern effective development of the national economy. The relation between the concepts of re-industrialization and neo-industrialization from the «means – result» position is established, it is proposed to consider them as successive logical and upward stages of the model of development of modern industry. It is substantiated that the transition from the modern state of the Ukrainian processing industry to a progressive model of development is possible only on the basis of the implementation of modernization and reconstruction measures, which should be considered as complementary, mutually interactive forms of providing advanced reproduction, serving as instruments for its transition to a national model of innovation development.
