Theoretical bases of state regulation of insurance activities in Ukraine

Abstract
The purpose of this article is the definition of the essence of state regulation of insurance activities, and clarifying the main theoretical aspects. Methodology of research. The solution in the article the tasks carried out with the help of such scientific and special research methods: analysis and synthesis, systematization and generalization, the dialectical approach. Results. Analysing and systemising scientific works of many scientists the article considers the essence of state regulation of insurance activity, and also presents its own vision of the main theoretical aspects of its implementation. Practical value. The article proves that in conditions of legal state and market economy development in Ukraine, determining the principles of insurance regulation is essential. A set of methods, forms and tools, as well as functions and principles of state regulation in the insurance industry will promote focused and concerted action of public and private structures for the provision of insurance protection of rights and interests of its subjects.
