THEORETICAL BASIS OF ART THERAPY APPLICATION IN THE PROCESS OF FUTURE SPECIALISTS’ PROFESSIONAL TRAINING

Abstract
The theoretical bases of applying art therapy in the process of specialists’ professional training are justified in the article. A brief overview of the formation of art therapy as a new direction in science is presented. The main approaches to the definition of art therapy, its goals and tasks are analyzed. The features of the creative process as such, which underlies art therapy, are considered. The main art-therapeutic technologies, actively used by modern teachers, psychologists, art therapists and a brief review of such technologies as: isoterapy, dramatherapy, bibliotherapy, music therapy, fairy tale therapy, etc., have been studied.
