THEORETICAL BASIS OF FOREIGN TRADE DIVERSIFICATION

Abstract
The article covers approaches to interpretation of foreign trade diversification essence as a factor of national economy restructuring. The author's definition of the concept “state policy of foreign trade diversification” is formulated. The basic types of diversification shift in foreign trade flows are defined and characterized. The decisive influence of vertical export diversification on welfare in countries with raw material structure of economy is substantiated. The theories of international trade are analyzed in the context of providing a purposeful state policy of export and import diversification.
