THEORETICAL FOUNDATIONS OF THE STATE CONTROL AND SUPERVISION IN THE SPHERE OF CONSTRUCTION ACTIVITY

Abstract
The article is devoted to topical issues related to the implementation of the state control and supervision of Ukraine in the sphere of construction activity. The main features inherent in the Institute of state control in the sphere of construction activities are revealed. The analysis of contemporary theoretical and practical foundations of the state control and supervision in the sphere of construction taking into account practical material. Identified key areas for further research in the sphere of state control of the construction activity. Attention was drawn to the difference between the terms «control» and «supervision». The author uses statistics to illustrate the work of the State architectural and construction Inspectorate of Ukraine in 2013 – 2014. Specified data on the number of scheduled and unscheduled inspections, said the State architectural and construction Inspectorate of Ukraine and the results of these inspections. The main idea of the article comprises that the improvement of the mechanism of legal regulation of state control in the sphere of construction allows efficient use of building potential of Ukraine and allows you to properly choose tactical objectives in this area.
