THEORETICAL FOUNDATIONS OF THE VIBRATION COMPACTION OF CONCRETE MIXTURES

Abstract

Purpose. To consider the theoretical foundations of the vibration compaction process, allowing to estimate efficiency and to choose rational modes of vibration effects on the concrete mixture on the basis of the minimum energy cost of the process seal. Methodology. Described seal mechanism under the action of external vibrating forces, that in the concrete mix and an alternating stress-strain state, is the destruction of initial structural linkages and weaken the connections between its separate elements, are the final movement of mineral particles with formation of a more dense packing. As the main factor determining the character of the densification process course, it has been proposed to use the product of voltage and the speed of vibration exposure, representing the power of vibration exposure to the sealed environment. Results. The analytical expressions to determine the increase of concrete density in function of time depending on the kind of vibration and power input vibration exposure to the sealed environment have been found out. The theoretical and experimental values of specific work of providing the required seal to the values required technological norms depending on the consistency of the concrete mix in vertical and horizontal directional vibrations have been defined. Originality. As the main factor determining the character of the densification process course, it has been proposed to use the product of voltage and the speed of vibration exposure, representing the power of vibration exposure to the sealed environment. Practical value. The proposed theory of vibration compaction process, will allow to estimate efficiency and to choose rational modes of vibration effects on the concrete mixture on the basis of the minimum energy cost of the process seal, which will allow to create highly effective energy saving vibrating machines of various technological purposes.
