THEORETICAL PROBLEMS OF THE CONFEDERA TIVE MODEL OF THE TERR ITORIAL ORGA NIZATION: APPROACHES PLURA LISM

Abstract
The article deals with the problem of pluralism of approaches to the definition of the concept of confederation and its place in the classification of political and territorial organization of the state, interstate supranational association ( formation) or international organization. Five main modern scientific approaches have been singled out and analyzed, considering the confederation from the standpoint of subjects of the theory of state and law, constitutional law, international law. Proceeding from the subject of the theory of state and law, the definition of confederative territorial organization of a derivative state with integrative sovereignty is formulated.
