Abstract
In the article the theoretical bases of professional self-development of future specialists in the field of information technologies are considered. The analysis of psychological and pedagogical literature on the problem of professional self-development of future specialists in the field of information technologies and its place in modern scientific researches of higher education is carried out. The problems of professional self-development of future specialists, the main aspects of development of creative abilities and skills of independent scientific knowledge, self-education and self-realization of personality are considered. The theoretical positions of the main factors of professional self-development of future specialists in the field of information technologies are determined.
