Journal Title: Eminak - Year 2016, Vol 2, Issue 3

Abstract

The article depicts the approaches of modern Ukrainian historians to the revision of basic ideological and politicalprogrammatic tenets of the nationalist movement launched at the Third Grand Assembly of UUN (b) in 1943. Ukrainian historians consider the assembly as a kind of a milestone which on one hand will regulate the norms of a number of important decisions and on the other will be another important step towards the evolution of the ideological and programmatic foundations of the Ukrainian liberation movement of 20-50s of the XX century. The list of problematic issues that require further scientific research is indicated.
