ASA defines difficult airway as the situations in which the conventionally trained anaesthesiologist experiences difficulty with mask ventilation, laryngoscopy and intubation. Techniques and practices in airway management have long been an important concern of ASA, as illustrated in difficult airway guidelines[1].
