To the problem of improvement rights of sexual minorities representatives and transgender people as criminal proceedings participants

Abstract
The article is devoted to the problem of rights of representatives of sexual minorities and transgender people when they take part in criminal proceedings. Apparently, both categories are rather extensive in terms of the scope, which makes it complicated to adapt and implement them within the framework of the national legislative and regulatory body. Therefore, the prevailing negative attitude of the majority of population towards representatives of sexual minorities and transgender people gives grounds to presume vulnerability of relevant categories of citizens. Highlighted that the persons affiliated with sexual minorities and transgender people do not fall within the categories that merit additional guarantees and rights as it is explicitly defined by the Criminal Procedural Code of Ukraine. Is emphasized the necessity of review the provisions Criminal Procedural Code of Ukraine in the context of equality of rights exercised by all categories of citizens, in particular, sexual minorities and transgender people. Making the abovementioned amendments to the criminal procedural legislation will promote improvement of rights of the persons who take part in criminal proceedings without any exception.
