TO THE PROBLEM OF MODES OF CONSCIOUSNESS IN CHILDREN’S FICTION

Abstract

Relevance of a problem is caused by interest of the modern literary criticism in the interpretative potential of children’s fiction. At this stage there are enough lacunas in theoretical aspect the analysis of children’s literature in and application to material of different interpretative techniques. The purpose of this article is to analyze specifics of children’s fiction as the special cultural phenomenon which is characterized by polyvalent interaction of consciousness modes. The purpose defined the following tasks: 1) to trace manifestation of different consciousness modes in children’s literature; 2) to reveal the indices of identity of children’s fiction; 3) to contour frames of a dialog between the interpretative potential of a circle of children’s reading and the categorical device of the modern literary criticism. Priority in approach to study of children’s literature and a circle of children’s reading are two important factors. The first factor is connected to code conversions of works of a world literary heritage in the adaptation mode children’s perception. The second aspect is directed on detection in the texts converted to children’s audience, the genre, symbolical, mythological, psychoanalytic and other hidden connotations. Activation in consciousness of the reader of modes of the child and adult does possible transition of texts of the world literature to a circle of children’s reading. The potential dialog between consciousness modes promotes different types of understanding and interpretation in the art or scientific plan. Among aspects of study of children’s literature is possible to select as the most significant it problems of consciousness, world model, receptions, interpretations, a dialog, game, intertextuality. In this plan open perspectives of further research.
