TO THE PROBLEM OF THE LEGALITY OF THE EMPLOYER’S CONTROL OVER THE PERFORMANCE THE LABOR DUTIES BY EMPLOYEES

Abstract
The article examines the legal regulation of the mechanism of control of the employer for the fulfillment of labor duties by employees in Ukraine. A systematic analysis of the legality of the installation of video surveillance equipment at the workplace, software aimed at tracking web pages visited by employees, and restricting access to certain content in the aspect of national law and judicial practice of the European Court of Human Rights is made. Both positive and negative factors of using similar methods of accounting the working time are indicated and the procedure for the introduction by the employer of the system of supervision over the employees, the observance of which will not violate the principles of the rule of law and legality, was proposed.
