Abstract
A cardinal solution to the problem of ensuring the quality of electrical energy is to change the structure of the power supply system for own needs and backup power supply by using in its composition a developed unit for uninterruptible power supply using the combination of a reserve source function with the function of setting a guaranteed power supply. The developed design methodology takes into account the features of the combined electric machines and allows to determine the parameters of the magnetic circuit, calculate the total electromagnetic loads, select the winding connection, calculate the magnetic circuit, calculate the parameters of the combined machine, calculate the electrodynamic forces and check for the possibility of vibrations, and select the inertial constant. When developing the design methodology for autonomous power supply systems, the similarity theory methods were used, based on the use of similarity theorems and elements of dimensional theory. In addition, when developing the design methodology of the converter, methods for solving optimization problems and elements of the theory of automatic control were used. The design method differs from the known ones in that it provides for the optimization of electromagnetic and linear loads of electrical machines, their verification for vibration, and also provides recommendations on the choice of voltage regulators for the motor and generator of the converter operating in synchronous-synchronous mode.

ANALYSIS OF INDICES OF ENERGY EFFICIENCY OF AUTONOMOUS VOLTAGE INVERTERS WITH VARIOUS MODULATION TYPES
In the article an analysis of energy characteristics and indices of electromagnetic compatibility of autonomous inverters of voltage with different types of modulation is given. Modes of single modulation with 120-, 150-...
FUNDAMENTAL SOLUTIONS ABOVE EQUATIONS OF THE PARAMETRIC OSCILLATIONS
We define the fundamental solution of the Mathieu equation for zero setting and arbitrary parameters using the method of direct integration. Along with the original Mathieu equation is considered tantamount to his sy...
IMPROVING THE EFFICIENCY OF HIGH-SPEED RAILWAY THROUGH THE USE OF THE DC OVERVOLTAGE
The majority of CIS railways are electrified on DC with a voltage in the contact network of 3 kV. However, such a voltage is not optimal either for power supply devices or for electric rolling stock. It is a compromise s...
TECHNOLOGICAL PROBLEM OF ADJUSTMENT OF DEVICES OF AUTOMATIC LOCOMOTIVE SIGNALING OF MOTOR-WAVE MOBILE COMPOSITION
One of the most important elements of railway automation are the systems of signal auto-adjustment. The most common among them in Ukraine and CIS countries is the automatic locomotive signaling of continuous operation. F...
SIMULATION OF INTERACTION OF THE WAY AND MOBILE COMPOSITION UNDER A DISCRETE SUB-FRAMEWORK BASIS IN THE AREA OF RAIL JOBS
A mathematical model is developed for estimating the stress state of rails in the zone of rail joints. As a design scheme of the railway track, a beam is adopted in the work on discrete elastically dissipative supports w...
