TO THE QUESTION OF THE ESSENCE OF LAND AS A FACTOR OF PRODUCTION

Abstract
The land from the point of view of the theory of production factors is reviewed in the article. Analyzing different approaches to the concept of «land», the author focuses on the fact that land as a natural resource is one of the main factors of production, which determines the national wealth of society. Properties of land as a factor of production in the article are presented through the performance of certain functions. It is concluded that the peculiarity of land as a factor in production is that it acts in terms of both the subject of labor and the tools of labor.
