Today’s Tafsir Problems

Abstract
Like every science, Tafseer has problems too. At the top of these problems there come the ones that are related to Qur'anic interpretation methodology. About thirty years ago, these problems have started to be talked about in Turkey and since then, various declarations, articles and books have been published. The latest study on tafseer problems is Muhsin Demirci's Today’s Tafsir Problems and it was published at the end of 2017. The author who has another book about this issue, -unlike his previous work- seems to be focused on the problems of understanding the Quran in this book. In this study, the book titled "Today’s Tafsir Problems" by Muhsin Demirci will be reviewed.
