TOPONYMS IN MODERN NICKNAMES OF THE CRIMEAN RESIDENTS

Abstract
The article first examines the Crimean residents’ nicknames compiled by the author in terms of the connection of informal proper names with geographical names. The main goal of the article is the collection of anthroponyms of Crimea, which have been recorded by the author for 10 years. The objective of the article is to extract from 7,5 thousand units the nicknames, which primary have the names of migrators’ native areas in their stems as well as the names of remote communities, various regional areas (on holiday, on a business trip and etc.). Separate group with toponymic stem is presented by individuals’ names, generated by external features, unexpected events and nicknames of people. The scope of the study is the lexical — semantic characteristic of the names. Migrators’ names formations, which reflect native towns and villages names as well as external features of different nationalities representatives, other fantasies of informal names creators originated under the law of the relative negativity. Those people were ‘sore thumbs’ amongst indigenous residents. The prospect of the study is the continuation of additional materials collection, which will be thoroughly analyzed linguistically.
