TOTAL SYNTHESIS OF 9 – OXO – BICYCLO [3.3.1] NONANE

Abstract
A simple, cost effective method for the total synthesis of 9-oxo-bicyclo [3.3.1] nonane (1) is described. The structure of the compound was elucidated on the basis of spectral data as well as by comparison with that reported in literature.
