TRADITIONAL AND INNOVATIVE METHODS OF PUPILS’ COGNITIVE ACTIVITY PROMOTION AT THE LESSONS OF BIOLOGY

Abstract

The article is devoted to the characterization of traditional and innovative methods of students’ cognitive activity promotion during biology lesson. The essence of the concept of “the pupils’ cognitive activity promotion during biology lessons”. Promotion of cognitive activity involves the introduction of various forms, methods and teaching techniques that encourage the child to reveal a higher level of cognitive activity. The article focuses on the peculiarities of biology as a school course. The authors identified traditional and innovative methods of students’ cognitive activity promotion at the biology lesson.
