TRAINING VALUES-BASED ATTITUDE TO THE NATURE OF FUTURE BIOLOGY TEACHERS: THEORETICAL ASPECTS

Abstract

The article deals with theoretical and methodological principles of training value-based attitude to the nature of future biology teachers and outlines the ways of implementation. The pedagogical essence of the value-based attitude to the nature notion is analyzed as the ability of a person to percept and perceive nature due to such valuable qualities as beauty, integrity, harmony, greatness, to understand the surrounding reality as a unity of equal self-value spheres – nature, society and person. There is the definition of the "attitude" concept as an integral system of individual selections, conscious connections of the person with different aspects of objective reality. The emphasis is on the structure of the values-based attitude to the nature with the components of the internal aspect - the attitude of the person who understands the values of the nature, and the external aspect considers the interaction between man and nature. It is emphasized that creativity when interacting with the nature contributes to regulating the process of acquiring knowledge by future sciences specialists and managing their own behavior in the natural environment. For effective training value-based attitude to the nature of future biology teachers, it is offered to take into account psychological and pedagogical mechanisms of developing values-based attitude to the nature in accordance with cognitive, emotional and value components and activity components that form the structure of values-based attitude to the nature. The basic ecological requirements for the process of developing values-based attitude to the nature are highlighted.
