TRANSLATION DOMINANT FEATURE AS A KEY TO SUCCESSFUL TRANSLATION

Abstract

The article deals with the specifics of translating quasi-idioms as a lexical dominant feature of R. Dahl’s individual style. Comprising most significant elements of the original text that constitute the author’s individual style, translation dominant features contribute to adequate translation of structural, semantic and pragmatic peculiarities of the text, which is the primary goal of each interpreter.
