Translator’s competence and intentions in the academic tradition

Abstract
The article highlights the anthropometric model of the translation paradigm through the clarification of the essence of the translator’s linguistic personality. The author discloses the latter to be the subject of integrative relations based the research vertical “communicative linguistic personality/elite linguistic personality” as well as accentuates on the teleology as a key principle of translation process.
