TÜRKİYE’DE KADINLARIN İŞGÜCÜNE KATILIMI VE İSTİHDAMI

Abstract
Traditionally, women employment and labour force participation rates have been low in Turkey, and there is no significant increases in the present. It is crucial for women to participate more in economic life to get a significant position in also social life. Moreover, it is also important for economic development and growth to offer women employment opportunities. This study investigates main determinants of women labour workforce participation and employment in Turkey, and analyzez the main reasons of low participation rates for policy proposals both in national and regional levels.
