TUTORIAL SYSTEM: HISTORY AND MODERNITY

Abstract
The article deals with the historical analysis of the origin and development of tutorial system as a traditional element of the British educational system; the main principles of tutorial work, historical and educational significance of tutors are shown; topicality of tutorial system is proved in a context of the European vectr of Ukrainian education.
