Abstract

Separation of anendodonticinstrumentintherootcanalisacommonmishapthatmay occurduring endodontictreatment. Itmayhaveapotential impactontheoutcome ofthetreatmentasithindercleaning and shapingoftherootcanal. Removaloftheseparatedinstrumentisoftenadvised butfactorslikepoor accessand visibility totheseparated instrumentmakesitdifficult andalsotheamount ofdentintoberemoved ismore. As analternativetoremoval,bypassingtechniqueisveryeffectiveandconservative. Thisarticledescribesthe management oftwopatientswithseparatedinstrument intherootcanal,bysuccessfully bypassingthose separatedinstrument
